Marble Creek Summer Solstice trip, 2004.

Roger M, Roger and Cindy C (and kids), Deano and Marilyn, and me met at Marble Creek. . Some of us stayed until Monday. We had three of our rigs in one site and Deano was at the adjacent site (if you can call 100 yards away adjacent but it was the next site over). The campground was fabulous and both Deano's site and our site were equally good

It turned out to be fabulous weather the entire time..  No rain and plenty of sunshine with temperatures into the mid to upper 80s.. We had a great time just relaxing, eating, and socializing.. At times it was too hot to do much of anything but I don't think anyone was complaining about that..  :-)

This was my maiden trip with my new XM radio.  Worked pretty darn good. Since there was limited stations on the radio dial, it came in real handy. I set it up to broadcast on a FM channel then set my radio out on the table.  Of course, it's just a new toy at this point, but I think the others enjoyed it too. Roger and Cindy's daughter, Mandy, sure did like it but not all of us enjoyed her type of music, mostly the Heavy Metal, but we humored her for a little while. Her taste in POP music wasn't bad though.    ;)

After this superb time, we all agreed to meet again at Marble creek next year at the same time and make it an annual Summer Solstice event.

Below are the pictures taken by Deano, Roger, and me. The pictures with the red borders were taken with  RogerM's camera, white borders were taken with my camera, and blue borders with Dean's camera.

This one campsite has it's own driveway. Notice how long this driveway is.

A few fishermen, err, people.

A unknown type bug came to visit. (If you know what kind of bug this is, email me the name)

Roger took this of my rear end.

Cutting a plank for use as a leveler.

Deano broke that apart with his bare hands (kidding).

My rear end again.

Look close, that's Dean. This was taken from our site. About 100 yards away.

Nice campfire, eh?

Cooking brats. Roger Martin was the cook. I think I'm gonna start calling him The Chef.

(Hey, wasn't that a Movie title?)

The creek from Deano's site.. Looks like a lagoon, doesn't it

Roger C setting up his brand new table canopy. Not due to rain but due to the sun.
